Description

Mookaite, a silicified porcelanite found only in Mooka, Western Australia, is formed from the fossilized remains of radiolarians, small marine organisms that settled in shallow seas over thousands of years, binding with silica to create this vibrant, multi-colored stone. The name "Mooka" means "running waters," named after the area's natural springs. To this day, Mookaite has only been discovered in this region.
