Description

Peruvian Turquoise is a unique variety of Chrysocolla, named for its beautiful blue-green color that resembles turquoise. Although it is often marketed as "Peruvian Turquoise," it is not true turquoise but is often even more stunning in appearance. 

The name Chrysocolla comes from the Greek term for "golden glue," reflecting its use by ancient goldsmiths as a soldering material. During the Renaissance, artists ground Chrysocolla for use as pigment. In South America, the Inca people revered this mineral as a sacred stone, using it as amulets. 

In terms of metaphysical properties, the exquisite blue-green hues of Peruvian Turquoise evoke images of gentle breezes over meadows or tranquil blue seas, and it offers the following benefits:
