墨西哥沈香精油加入Quinessence的產品線中，是為了代替瀕危的花梨木。墨西哥沈香含有非常高量的芳樟醇（沈香醇），因此散發如花梨木般溫和細緻的木質香氣，跟薰衣草也有一點類似。這種植物目前主要產地是在墨西哥及印度，但又以墨西哥產的沈香醇含量更為勝出，更近似於花梨木。
